Epstein - Original Hand Painted Silks</strong></p>
<p>I have been painting on silk since
1983. During that same year I was juried
into the Maui
Crafts Guild, and have been an active member ever since. I always
begin with pure white silk. My designs are applied free-hand, and there
are no screens involved. Each piece is an original, with its own
spirit. <br>
<br>
The designs are inspired by many things, but Nature has been a most powerful
source for me. The beauty of the world - not only all of the magnificent natural
forces, but the many peoples, cultures, styles, art and expression are exciting.
I like to incorporate these rhythmns into design. Over the years I have been
juried into many art shows, and have been commissioned by people from all over
the world to design for them, including
a celebrity clientele.<br>
