The silk is stretched on the worktables, and the design is applied free-hand,
with no screens. Every area is painted, using high quality dyes made especially
for silk.</td>

When the piece is completely dried, it is ready for steaming, a process
which bonds the dye to the fibre. Later it will be washed thoroughly, ironed,
and sent to the seamstress.</td>
